Privacy policy

Your schedule stays with you.

Effective / updated: 2026-11-05

Who we are

This policy covers Trustshift for Android (com.trustshift.app) and shift.trustampcamera.com. Trustshift is developed by Kaiyu Huang (Trustamp Camera). Privacy and support contact: [email protected]. This policy describes Android version 1.0.0.

Trustshift and Trustamp share a developer and contact email, but they are separate applications. This policy applies to Trustshift; it does not import Trustamp’s location, camera or online verification features.

Information used on your device

Trustshift stores the work profiles, shift templates, schedules, personal events, checklists, clock-in/break/clock-out events, corrections, pay settings, notes and manually entered places that you create. It also stores display preferences, reminder settings and calendar-export mappings. These are used locally to provide schedules, reminders, work records, estimates and reports.

Pictures and PDFs are accessed only when you select them in the system file picker. Trustshift copies the selected files into its private app storage, along with their names, types and sizes. Original files may contain personal information or embedded metadata; review them before sharing.

Trustshift V1 has no account, business API, cloud sync or online verification. It does not automatically send your schedules, work records, pay details, calendars or attachments to us. The app has no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDK. It does not access GPS, the camera, microphone, contacts or advertising ID.

Optional permissions and calendar connections

Notifications and alarm access are used for reminders you configure. You can change them in Android settings. Android may delay reminders depending on permissions and battery settings.

Calendar access is optional. When you connect a calendar, Trustshift reads the sources you select and can export schedules to a dedicated calendar. A calendar account or sync provider you use may sync those exported events under its own settings and privacy policy. This is separate from a Trustshift cloud service.

The system file picker and file-sharing permissions provide access to the files you select. Trustshift does not request unrestricted access to your entire photo library. Denying these optional permissions leaves unrelated local features available.

Exports, sharing and support

You choose whether to export or share a report, calendar file, image or attachment, and which receiving app or destination to use. Those copies leave the app’s private storage and are governed by the destination’s controls. Ordinary attachment names, types and sizes appear in reports only if you enable that option; the original files are not automatically included.

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message and any files you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue, with our email provider handling delivery and storage. Do not send private work records unless they are needed. We retain correspondence only as necessary to handle support, follow-up and applicable obligations; contact us to request its deletion.

Storage, retention and deletion

Local app data is kept until you clear it or remove the application, subject to Android storage behavior. Some in-app removals preserve history: deleting a planned shift does not delete a related work record or its original events. Removing an imported attachment deletes its private copy, not your original file.

To remove all Trustshift data on this device, use Android Settings → Apps → Trustshift → Storage → Clear data / Clear storage, or uninstall the app. This removes local schedules, records, settings and private attachment copies. It cannot be undone through Trustshift. V1 does not provide backup or restoration and excludes app data from Android backup/transfer configuration.

Reports and files you exported, attachments shared with other apps, and events exported to device calendars are separate copies. Remove them in their destination apps too. Cancel calendar export before clearing app data if you want Trustshift to remove its exported events. See the local data deletion guide.

Security

Trustshift uses Android’s app-private storage and grants temporary file access when you open or share a file. Protect your device with its available screen lock and security updates. Local storage is not a promise of additional app-level encryption, tamper-proof time records or protection after you share a file. We do not hold a remote copy that can restore your records.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting pages involves technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Cloudflare may also provide aggregate website performance/traffic measurements. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy for its processing. Website requests do not include your Trustshift app database or attachments.

The homepage saves your selected language in this browser’s local storage when available. Interactive examples use sample data in page memory and reset on reload. The site has no account, work-record upload form or connection to your local app data. You can clear the site’s storage in your browser.

Changes and contact

We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. Any future feature that changes data handling will need an updated disclosure. For privacy questions or requests about information you have sent to us, contact [email protected]. We cannot read or remotely delete the records stored only on your phone.
